RAN Sevens

Taking place at Langford’s Starlight Stadium in British Columbia August 19-20, the 2023 Rugby Americas North Sevens features 10 teams from seven RAN countries in the men’s and women’s competitions.
The 2023 Rugby Americas North Sevens kicks off Saturday, August 19 at Langford’s Starlight Stadium as teams prepare to compete for three various, tiered prizes plus regional bragging rights. The 10 teams from seven different RAN countries have been training at the University of Victoria and Starlight Stadium throughout the week in final preparations for their #RAN7s campaign.
In 2022, the RAN Sevens took place in Mexico City where the Jamaica Men and Mexico Women were crowned champions and booked their tickets to the 2023 World Rugby Sevens Challenger Series.
WHAT’S AT STAKE: Men’s Competition
Men’s winner qualifies for Paris 2024.
Men’s 2nd & 3rd place teams qualify for the Olympic repechage tournament in 2024.
The highest placed non-USA or Canada men’s team (one only) will qualify for the 2024 World Rugby Sevens Challenger Series. USA and Canada men are on the HSBC Seven Series and therefore not eligible for the Challenger Series..

Women’s winner qualifies for Paris 2024.
