Men’s U19 & Women’s 15s

The 2023 Rugby Americas North (RAN) Men’s U19 and Women’s XVs Tournament is slated for July 14 to July 17 in Kingston, Jamaica. The five-day event, returns to the University of the West Indies, as Jamaica Rugby Football Union helps RAN host 11 teams from seven RAN countries for 27 matches.

The next generation of men’s players will be on display as Bermuda, Cayman Islands, Guyana, Jamaica, and Trinidad & Tobago look to de-thrown the winners from last year: USA South Panthers. Returning to the RAN stage are plenty of Men’s U19 players who gained valuable experience at the 2022 RAN Super 7s in the organziations first-ever age-grade sevens event in Mexico City. More opportunity lies ahead in Kingston for the young players, set to gain valuable experience in a high-performance environement focused on development.

Having increased this year from the 12s format of 2022’s event, the Women’s 15s tournament shows crucial growth and development tool for the women’s game and a pathway to the introduction of Senior Women’s 15 a-side international competition around the region. Heading into its sixth year, the Women’s tournament includes five teams: the Cayman Islands, Jamaica, Mexico, Trinidad & Tobago, and 2022 Champions – USA South Panthers.
